The Oakfabco Liquidating Trust (the "Trust") was established in July, 2019 as provided for in the Second Amended Plan of Liquidation of Oakfabco, Inc. (the "Plan"), which was confirmed in the chapter 11 bankruptcy of Oakfabco, Inc. on April 11, 2019. The Trust was established to process, liquidate and pay valid asbestos personal injury claims in accordance with the Trust Distribution Procedures of the Oakfabco Liquidating Trust (the "TDP").
Pursuant to the TDP, the Trust has adopted policies and procedures for receiving, reviewing and paying claims for asbestos personal injuries. These procedures include the claim form to be filed with the Trust as proof of a claim. The filing instructions, claim form, Electronic Filer Agreement required for electronic claim submissions, and a complete copy of the TDP are available for download on the Resources page of this website.
Claims may be filed with the Trust on or after October 17, 2019, but must be filed by May 15, 2021 in order to be eligible for payment.
Attention: Claims that have been designated as deferred or incomplete must be completed by November 1, 2021 or they will be deemed withdrawn (Notice of Deadline to Complete Claim Submissions).
